Taxes:
A sweeping property tax reform plan was recently completed that caps business property taxes at 3% of assessed value. Corporate Adjusted Gross Income Tax is a flat 8.5%, to be apportioned solely on a company’ sales in 2011. No inventory tax. State sales tax is 7% with exemptions allowed on purchases of R&D and manufacturing equipment, items for resale, and more.
